OECD Triple Helix Competition in Albania

Final Project Presentations and Awards Ceremony

Innovation – Partnership – Triple Helix

Would you like to know more about the most innovative ideas and projects in Albania? Then come and join us for the final event and awards ceremony of the OECD Triple Helix Competition in Albania on the 9th of February!

Did you know that companies’ productivity increases by 43% after introducing a new product, and by up to 67% after an organizational or marketing innovation?

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Southeast Europe Regional Programme is organizing a final ceremony event of the Triple Helix Competition in Albania, with the presentation of the best innovative projects and a networking buffet to exchange views and ideas. Launched in 2015, the Competition was a breakthrough for the Albanian innovation eco-system where more than 25 representatives of private, public, and academic institutions got together, developed ideas and partnership models and the OECD supported their initiatives! Come and learn about some of them!

Coming to the event would provide government officials, academics, donors, and private sector representatives with the opportunity to learn about the latest innovative ideas currently being developed in Albania. Shortlisted applicants of the Competition, along with their partners, will be presenting their idea and give birth to innovative projects through consortia of business, academia, and public sector actors. Through this project the OECD aims to support the Albanian Government in creating an environment conducive to business-academia-government cooperation for innovation development, the Albanian companies realize and reap the benefits of knowledge commercialization and the Albanian academia fully exploits its research potential.
